Terms and Conditions

1. Service Providers

Your contract is with the provider of the services. We (Go Haggis) have an established relationship with all our accommodation and service providers.  

 2. Payment

Go Haggis requests full payment at time of booking via PayPal or via Direct Bank Transfer or UK Cheque.  If paying by bank transfer or cheque, please send your booking to us via an email. Cheques to be made payable to Go Haggis and sent to: Go Haggis, 12 Garnie Lane, Erskine, Renfrewshire, PA8 7BQ. 

3. Booking Amendments

GO Haggis will make every effort to assist in any alterations you may request. 

4. Cancellations

If for any reason you have to cancel, Go Haggis require notice to cancel in writing. Cancellation will only be accepted from the date in which Go Haggis receives the letter of cancellation.

Cancellation Terms (Luggage Service & Deals):

Cancellation while on the walk - Payments are Non-Refundable.

Cancellation 7 days before arrival - Payments are Non-Refundable but if you re-arrange your dates within a 12 month period Go Haggis will honour your booking payment for your new date.

Cancellation 14 days before arrival - You will receive 50% of your payment received by Go Haggis

Cancellation anytime up to 14 days before arrival you will receive 100% of your payment to Go Haggis or alternatively you can use your payment for future dates within 24 months.

Campers Club Terms: All payments are non refundable, we will be happy to re-arrange your dates free of charge within 12 months.

 5. Luggage Transfer (All Services)

Bags must weigh no more than 20 kilos or less depending on the individual carrier’s conditions. Excess items, however small, may incur an extra charge and overweight bags may not be moved.

  • No items to be attached on to luggage (boots, bottles etc)
  • Please ensure luggage labels (attached by carrier) are attached and visible daily
  • No valuable or breakable items to be left in transferable luggage i.e. tablets/Ipads/Laptops/Cameras
  • Luggage to be available from 9am each morning
  • Inversnaid - please make your luggage available for collection at 8am 

If you believe your bag has been damaged in transit, please advise us immediately - Please note that the maximum claim for damage to your bag will be £50

6. Client Transfers

Go Haggis will endeavour to maintain timing schedules however circumstances outwith our control, such as, roadworks, traffic accidents, traffic control and weather conditions may delay our advertised timings - Go Haggis will not be responsible for delays to your onward travel. 

Go Haggis may substitute alternative transport if the need arises.

Go Haggis operates a policy of no smoking, drinking or food to be consumed within the vehicle.

Go Haggis Client Transfers require you to be punctual for the transfer time allocated to your booking. Vehicles may only be delayed at the drivers discretion.

On occasion there maybe a pet (dog) on board our return transfers - Please advise us at time of booking if you have any pet allergies.

7. Responsibility

Go Haggis does not accept responsibility for damage to items outwith our possession.

8. Personal Insurance

We recommend that you are protected by a Comprehensive Holiday Insurance with cover for cancellation or curtailment, baggage loss, baggage damage, personal injury and Third Party Liability. 

9. Force Majeure

Go Haggis cannot accept responsibility for any loss or damage resulting from war or terrorist activities, weather conditions, fire, flood or drought, airport closures, rescheduling of means of transport, epidemics/pandemics or any other eventuality outwith our control which may delay/cancel or extend the holiday.

10. Complaints

Go Haggis welcomes all feedback.  We try to ensure you have an enjoyable holiday. If you have any problems please contact us immediately and we will do our best to resolve them. Any complaints should be made as soon as reasonably practical and in any event to our office in writing within 28 days of the end of your holiday.

11. Information

While every care has been taken to ensure that the information provided by Go Haggis is correct, all information is subject to alteration without notice. Go Haggis accepts no liability for any inaccuracy in the information produced.
